Saying I was born in a sharecroppers shack on the edge of a cotton field in West Texas sounds like the start of a poor novel, but is true.  My earliest memories are of pulling a sack of cotton between rows of cotton all day, picking it for local farmers.  About the time for me to start school we moved to the "big city" (about 650 popultaion).  My dad became a blacksmith.  I worked in his shop and for the ranchers in the area.  Here was born an interest in cowboy life.

By near end of High School we moved to a town near Dallas (population 350).  After graduating I enlisted in the Air Force but was home again in 8 months with medical discharge in hand.  After a few odd jobs became a civil servant for the City of Dallas for the next twenty-six years.

I vacationed in Tombstone, Arizona one year and fell in love with its history and the characters involved in it.  Had the good fortune to be asked to do research on one of its characters.  The research fascinated me.  I put research in story form and was published. People seemed impressed with my ability to find hard to locate information and have done old west and family research ever since.  After retiring I visited a friend and owner of a movie set in South Texas.  He offered me a job as an actor.  That movie led to TV and movie roles.

This site is established to present what I have done and what I am prepared to do for you if you have need of my services.
